About the event

The growth in telco and media services in the Middle East continues with a steady stride – the number of IPTV homes in the Middle East and North Africa is on the rise – according to Informa Telecoms & Media – subscriber numbers are predicted to undergo an almost ten-fold increase in the forecast period, to reach 1.6 million by 2014 – giving a 2.1% penetration rate. In terms of Pay TV markets overall the regional total is predicted to increase to 11 million pay TV homes by 2014. This gives a 15% pay TV penetration rate.

An advantage that potential IP&TV operators in the Middle East and Africa have over their Western counterparts is the opportunity to build the most up-to-date and effective networks, the common language and tradition for much of the region and a culture that encourages high rates of TV consumption.

By attending the show you will not only learn about the latest developments in the TV industry, but also have the opportunity to make deals face to face, do business, partner and network with senior decision makers from regional and international operators, satellite providers, cable providers, content aggregators and broadcasters.
